Outstanding contribution to Industrial Marketing Management (IMM) Journal
In April, Lindgreen was also recognized, with his partner Anthony Di Benedetto, for their “Outstanding Contributions as Co-Editor-in-Chiefs of Industrial Marketing Management 2014–2025”. Lindgreen was the first non-US academic to hold this role.
Under their leadership, IMM evolved into the world’s leading journal in business-to-business marketing. They expanded the journal’s intellectual scope by introducing new sections, including Academic–Practitioner Papers, Interdisciplinary Research, Methodological Papers, and Target and Position Papers.
In 2020, IMM became one of the first marketing journals to institutionalize a dedicated Academic–Practitioner Papers section, publishing research co-authored by scholars and executives that combines rigorous theory with managerial relevance.
