Speaking at GIBS late last year, Rise Mzansi leader Songezo Zibi explained that his new political party views itself as an alternative, working to gain political and social power to build a safe, prosperous, equal, and united South Africa in one generation.
“We do not exist to be in opposition but rather to reimagine and reform the political culture in South Africa and advance a 30-year vision that is supported by values and a capable leadership collective to deliver the South Africa we deserve.”
