GIBS proudly hosted President Cyril Ramaphosa and the Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust (CRET) for the 2025 CRET Annual Awards, in a year where both institutions celebrate 25 years of impact.
The event honoured the remarkable achievements of CRET bursary recipients – young leaders who embody academic excellence, community spirit, and personal growth. These awards reflect CRET’s holistic approach to youth development, which extends beyond financial support to include mentorship, psychosocial care, and leadership development.
President Ramaphosa’s presence highlighted the enduring importance of investing in South Africa’s next generation. It was a privilege for GIBS to host this celebration of purpose, progress, and partnership.
