When Professor Louise Whittaker was appointed as Deputy Dean in August 2022, it was envisioned that the role would encompass managing all faculty activities, teaching and research. GIBS held back on realigning portfolios at that time so as not to disturb students’ academic year.
With the beginning of the new year, it was opportune to realign responsibilities with less disruption. Hayley Pearson has taken over leading academic education, while at the same time handing over responsibility for faculty and research to Professor Whittaker.
