In a breakthrough partnership with the new Toyota Wessels Institute for Manufacturing Studies, GIBS is launching a new Manufacturing MBA.
Says GIBS Dean, Professor Nicola Kleyn, “Most of the MBA programme will cover general management skills. However, elective subjects, research and overseas field trips will focus on manufacturing. Assignments will have a similar flavour.”
The Toyota Wessels Institute will be headed by Justin Barnes, formerly of the dti, where he led the government-industry team that devised the 2021-2025 Automotive Masterplan, launched in November last year.
