Like all the country’s institutions of education, GIBS’ Dean, Prof. Nicola Kleyn and her management team, moved quickly to limit access to GIBS’ campus. Then, as soon as it became clear that a full, nationwide lockdown was about to happen, the entire campus was closed completely, bar essential security and IT staff.

At the time of writing, South Africa – and GIBS, of course – remains in lockdown in a desperate bid to combat the spread of coronavirus and its attendant disease, Covid-19.
